Snails are one of the delicacy in some homes in West Africa and it one of the expensive commodity in our local markers. Snail farming is one of the high returns non-capital intensive business one can try. AYEI has established a learning facility to train-up young people who might want to venture into this activity as means to earn a living. AYEI has trained some of its staff as trainers into snail farming and in our mandate to reduce unemployment and poverty among the youth, this project was chosen to add to many we carry out others where young people, especially women are offered training into snail farming where lessons on cages design, feeding, care taking, marketing and snail products processing are given.  Beneficiaries are equipped with tools, equipment’s and other logistics they may need to start a snail farm with ease.
