After training sessions of 50 young people in entrepreneurship last May 2020, they have benefited from coaching sessions through SILC groups. Coaching sessions are delivered either online or physically by meeting the young beneficiaries on the ground. The Kantas Consulting House is in charge of offering this coaching that has enable them have enough skills to get started with the project. During the coaching sessions, the young beneficiaries have been trained and practically helped to build business plans, especially in agribusiness and have gained deep understanding on management of agribusiness ventures.  Upon completion of this training, AYEI-Burundi has then launched a call for proposals of business plans out of which 2 best contestants were selected and have been granted with credit loans to enable them start farming activities.

The two best agribusiness plans that have won the price are into crop and animal farming respectively, namely potatoes cultivation and chicken breeding. After months of launch of the above named projects, now under way, AYEI-Burundi is proud of the level of execution of the two projects which are serving as pilot basis for upcoming projects
